The Assisted goals foundation is a wonderful group of people doing what they can to make the sport of Hockey more affordable for people. With their help, I know that I as a single mother will be able to make this season happen for my son.
We are grateful for the assistance provided by Assisted Goals Foundation. Even though I work full time, as an only parent, I struggle and hockey is an expensive sport. The funds received allows my daughter to keep pursuing her hockey dreams and express her passion in net. The friendship and team comradery built throughout the season is beautiful. And the life lessons learned through hockey is priceless.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone involved in the organization. Being a single parent in the hockey world is hard with the financial burden and logistics of a long season. Unfortunately this year my second job closed down and I haven’t been able to get another one. That job being the main reason why my son has been playing hockey. While worrying about that financial cost I seen this scholarship I talk to my son and did the application.
We really appreciate Assisted Goals for the help we are receiving this year! My son has played Hockey since he was 3 years old. When he started it was not something that we had ever been a part of and did not predict that he would fall in love with this sport. As with any sport every year it gets more and more expensive. This year my son made a team that we had to turn down because of the price. When he made his second team he was so excited for it and the coaches that we knew we would have to make it work, even if it was more than last year. On top of the price increase, my daughter had a major hip surgery this year. We were spread thin to say the least. As a family we have all done our part to make things work but when Assisted goals reached out a huge weight was lifted. This means so much not only to my hockey player, but to our whole family. Thank you again. We hope to pay it forward in the near future. Thank you!
