Our Vision

We believe that your passion to participate and excel in the game of hockey should not be limited to your ability to keep up with the cost to play. As we face many challenges in the world today that require sacrifices, one sacrifice we passionately strive to eliminate is your child's ability to participate in their sport. It is with these challenges in mind that the Assisted Goals Foundation seeks to provide a reprieve from the accessibility gap that exists with hockey's continuously rising costs so that your player can experience the joy of playing hockey and the freedom to grow their love of the game without being limited by their family's financial situation.

Founded by parents who have directly experienced this financial burden, the Assisted Goals Foundation understands the immense burden that falls on parents to try to do whatever they can to find a way to keep their kids in the game. It's with that experience that we seek to provide a financial assist from the constant struggle to keep up with the continuously rising cost of playing. 

Through our fundraising efforts and established partnerships across the community and in the hockey world, our scholarship program will provide resources to players and families in need of support at any point in their hockey journey.  

Youth hockey has a bond with its participants unlike any other. It creates lifelong friendships and teaches vital life skills and is a powerful outlet for physical activity and overall wellness. We believe that the game of hockey should be available and accessible to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Through our efforts and with your continued support, we hope to provide a solution to hockey's financial accessibility gap and promote lasting growth to all willing participants of all backgrounds and communities.
