Board of Directors

What is your current role and responsibilities with the Assisted Goals Foundation?

As a member of the board of directors of the Assisted Goals Foundation, I am responsible for contributing to day to day operations which include marketing, strategy development for passing out scholarships, and helping manage donations.

Why did you get involved with the Assisted Goals Foundation?

I have been fortunate to play hockey most of my life and can relate most of my success's back to the lessons I have learned through this sport. Hockey has given me so many memories and shaped me into the person I am today. I received an athletic scholarship to play D1 Hockey at Robert Morris University which prepared me to represent my country in two Olympic games. Hockey is the greatest sport on earth and I want every kid that loves the game to have the opportunity to pursue it.

What is your professional background and how does it translate to the Assisted Goals Foundation?

Since about 2006 I have been coaching goalies in the Pittsburgh area and started my own private instruction business in 2014. I also started the first all girls hockey camp in the area that same year.

Tells us something about you?

I have two young boys and understand more than ever how much you would do anything for them that makes them happy! I never want to see a kid not be able to do something that they love due to cost. Hockey is expensive and this is a way we can help keep a child in skates. I was fortunate to play all of my life and understand how much kids need sport in their life and there is no better sport than HOCKEY.
