Board of Directors
What is your current role and responsibilities with the Assisted Goals Foundation?
I am a board member and currently serving as secretary of Assisted Goals Foundation
Why did get involved with the Assisted Goals Foundation?
Youth sports have become very expensive and time consuming, which limits options and opportunities for many families. Children need an outlet and should be able to pursue what they enjoy. Hockey is a sport that both my son and daughter love but is very costly. While our family is fortunate to be able to play for teams and provide travel for our children, we also recognize that not everyone has these options, which is why the Assisted Goals Foundation is so important. Hopefully the work being done at ASG will help other children find and continue a sport that they love
What is your professional background and how does it translate to the Assisted Goals Foundation?
Prior to having children, I taught middle school English and coached a variety of sports. I enjoy working with children and helping them succeed. Making a sport a child loves possible for them drives me to help in any manner I can at Assisted Goals Foundation.
Tells us something about you?
I grew up in suburban Chicago playing tennis and many sports, but never hockey. However, hockey is one sport that both of my children play. Hopefully, in working with ASF, I can help other children continue to play a game that they love.
